COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT RECOVERY FUNDS (CDBG-R)

The City of Rome has amended the 2008 CDBG Action Plan to include approximately $136,000 in additional funds from Congress through the stimulus package. These funds will be used to assist in the street improvement activity that is currently planned for Lyons Drive. Originally the funds were being considered for a recreational sidewalk in South Rome, but have been moved to the Lyons Drive project to be in compliance with the CDBG-R program guidelines as interpreted through the HUD office.
