Biography

Mayor William (Bill) Collins is married to Rome City School Board member Faith (Wilson) Collins. He has three children and three grandchildren. He has owned Collins Auto Clean-Up for 31 years and has served on the Rome City Commission since 1996.

He serves on several community organizations which include:

  • Greater Rome Chamber of Commerce
  • NAACP
  • National Member of National Black Caucus of Elected Officials
  • Northwest Georgia Minority Business Association
  • Progressive Men’s Organization of Rome, Inc.
  • Rome Rotary Club International

He also completed the Georgia Municipal Association’s training program for elected officials.
