What is a TAD?

Tax Allocation District Example, Courtyard Marriott

The City of Rome will be proposing two new Tax Allocation Districts (TAD); one up the Martha Berry Blvd. corridor; the other in North Rome. TADs help stimulate development in areas where there are opportunities to bring new commerce and new jobs.
